Meghan has......

A loud voice:
While walking past the lingerie department at K-Mart, "Hey Mommy, do you see all these boobies?" (she was referring to the racks of bras). 'Do you like all these boobies? Those are really BIG ones!"
A dainty appetite:
Meghan asked for a snack tonight before going to bed. I asked her if she wanted apple slices with peanut butter or cheese and crackers.
Her response: "I want apples with peanut butter, those crackers with the cheese, and a strawberry. Oh, and a pickle." .....long pause......"but I don't want any bacon or pizza so don't give me those."
The really wacky thing is that she ate almost she asked for!
A bad habit:
I told Meghan, "Don't pick your nose please."
Her response: (with index finger still in left nostril) "Boing!!"

  1. This literally had me laughing out loud.

After I put Eliana to bed tonight she said "I don't want the toilet paper in here." She had lugged a huge pack of paper towels into her room yesterday and I thought she wanted someone to come take them out. Gil told him to put it in his office. After a minute she said "I can't get it out." He went in and said the package was already in his office, and he didn't understand what the problem was. Turns out she meant she couldn't get out the wad of toilet paper she had stuck in her nose!! I had to pull it out with tweezers. I told her to never put anything in her nose again or we're going to have to go to the doctor to get it out. She said "I don't want to go to the doctor, I just want to put things in my nose."

  2. P.S. Last ngiht we had company over for dinner. Eliana was sitting on my lap and pulled down the shoulder of my shirt and said "Bra! Bra! Mommy wearing a bra!" (And it was during a part of the Shabbat meal where we're not allowed to talk so I couldn't whisper to her to please stop talking about my bra!)

  3. ugh....I don't think I could handle digging random objects from noses. That would definitely be an ER trip for us.
